Camping

We went camping at Seven Springs sometime in November. It's obviously been awhile. It was really fun and a ton of people went. There was Chad, Stacy, and Grace, Christi and Matt, Matthew, Jeff and Tiffany Roberston and their kids, and then a couple other couples we didn't really know. We got there after dark and just started cooking our food. That picture that looks really disgusting is our foil dinners that Scott very proudly prepared. That was actually what he was most looking forward to on this camping trip. Once we cooked and ate our foil dinners he would have been happy if we just went home then. We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores then played some games and hit the sack. Everyone was up very early Saturday morning. As you can see it was just a little too early for Grace and me. Before we went home we played a little baseball which I wish I had more pictures of. We all had a really good time but it was nice to go home, shower and take a long nap in a comfortable bed.

Halloween 2007

I know I'm behind and haven't quite caught the "fever" of this blogging thing so I have a lot of catching up to do. For Halloween we dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Smith...the part where they team up and fight everyone together. We went to a Halloween party thrown by our friends Cole and Aubry Carter. There was a costume contest but we are sad to say we weren't even the runner-ups. We just couldn't compete with Dwight and Angela from The Office and the "never nude" Tibias from Arrested Development. I worked very hard carving this pumpkin. In case you can't tell, that is Dwight Shrute from The Office. I took it to work for a pumpkin carving contest but no one informed me that it really wasn't a contest of skill...which I obviously had. It was a contest to find the weirdest and most ridiculous pumpkins. Needless to say, I'm not bitter but definitely not impressed with the pumpkins that won.

Denver trip

This weekend we went to Denver. We flew in early Saturday morning and we just toured downtown which is of course the day we forgot the camera. We were walking around in the sun and we were really hot and sweaty. That night we went to a restaurant and when we came outside it was really cold and windy. When we woke up Sunday morning all we saw was snow everywhere. We weren't prepared for that and since we've both been sick we chose not to play in the snow which I was kinda bummed about. Sunday we went to a very entertaining restaurant called Casa Bonita and then went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (or something like that). It was a really fun trip but we were so tired we were excited to come home.

Scott's buisness trip to St Louis

This would be the highlight of Scott's business trip.

Oregon

We actually took this trip to oregon for Aaron and Amber's Wedding. We couldn't believe how green it was there and how perfect the weather was. Coming from the desert out here it was a nice change. This is the Portland temple and we pretty much did wedding stuff all day since Scott was the Best Man. Sunday we went all over sightseeing in Portland. Our favorite part was the rose garden. You can't see it in the picture but this is only about 1/8 of the whole garden. It was huge with every kind of rose possible.

San Diego

We took a weekend trip to Yuma and then to San Diego the first weekend the "San Diego Crew" went out. Sadly we really didn't take many pictures at all. It was really fun though. We went there early with Chad and just laid on the beach all day Saturday. We pretty much got fried so the rest of the weekend we just stayed inside and hung out with the whole family until it was time to come back on Sunday night.

Weekend Getaway to Payson

This summer we decided to take a trip to Payson to get away from the heat. It was beautiful, green, and about 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix. We had a really good time hiking all over Tonto National Park and down to the Natural Bridge then just relaxing and visiting the shops and restaurants in town.

Homeymoon

We went on a cruise to San Diego, Catalina Island, and Ensenata, Mexico. It was such a fun, relaxing vacation we definitely weren't ready to come back.

Wedding Day

We're all smiles after gettin hitched...excited to start our lives together.
