30 Is the New 20 Right?

Last week Scott turned 30. Like every year, he got Thanksgiving dinner for his birthday. I thought it was quite appropriate since I'm so so very thankful he was born. Scott isn't big on being the center of attention, but I talked him into letting me throw him a birthday party for this monumental year. How cute is this invitation?
Anyways, we had all his favorite snacks and all his favorite people there (that weren't out of town or sick that weekend.) We had a "How well do you know Scott" game with 30 questions, of course, and a picture game where you had to guess his ages in the pictures, plus fun facts about every 5 years of his life. Scott was a great sport about everything and I think he actually ended up having fun with all the attention. Sadly the only pictures I took were when he blew out his candles.

I feel so lucky and blessed to have him in my life. He's such a wonderful husband and father and, like I tell him every year, I love celebrating his birth because it's just as big and important a day for me as it is for him. My life is forever changed because of him. I love him more than I could ever express in words. He becomes better with every passing birthday and I'm loving every minute of "growing old" together.
