19-20 Months

I have been very behind on everything lately including my blog. Between everyone getting sick, Christmas, and being pregnant I don't know if I'll ever get caught up before Baby Bair 2 comes but I'm working on it. So...Logan's due for an update.

Logan has finally started showing interest in talking. Some new words and phrases are:
ball, car, go, thank you, shoes, juice, "ashes, ashes, all fall down", ready set go, fish, and any other word he decides to copy when he feels like it. He also signs a few more things however the only one I can think of now is cold.

He now "folds" his arms for prayer. Which really is just him putting his hands on his chest for the first few seconds of the prayer. It's a miracle if he makes through the whole thing.

He knows what a lot more animals say like monkey, sheep, and all the ones that growl like bear, tiger, dinosaur, lion etc.

He's learning more body parts like teeth, tongue, head, feet, fingers, and arms.

He's started eating with a fork and spoon but usually gives up after a few seconds. He also eats like a big kid at the table with dishes without dumping or dropping his plate on the floor...usually.

He's now a pro at walking up and down stairs. No more scooting backwards to get down.

After like a year of trying to get him to do it, he finally blows kisses.

He "winks" which is, of course, is just exaggerated blinking.

He tells me when he needs his diaper changed by tugging on his pants but doesn't like the idea of a potty seat.

He gives hugs.

Uncle Matthew got home from his mission a few weeks ago and got to meet his two nephews. It took some time for him to warm up but now Logan loves playing with Matthew.
Logan's absolute favorite thing to do is play outside. When the weather is nice I will just leave the back door open so he can go in and out whenever he wants. This day it literally rained all day and Logan was begging to go outside the whole time. I finally gave in and let him out to play in the rain. He LOVED running around and stomping in the puddles. I finally had to bring him inside kicking and screaming before he got too cold.

Logan loves to help mom and dad with anything he can. He seriously is a huge helper taking things to the trash, putting toys away, handing us things, wiping the table, and he loves to sweep. This is just another Saturday working outside with dad.

Logan has become quite the pro at hiding. He hides to play and also hides when he hears it's time to change his clothes or diaper or anything else he doesn't want to do. When he finds a good hiding spot he's actually hard to find because he can keep quiet for at least a couple minutes.

I'm sure I'm forgetting things but that's all I can come up with after being so behind and living with a "pregnancy brain."
